Veronica Wallace

Veronica Wallace Research Program Specialist

Veronica is a multidisciplinary scientist with experience across clinical, biomedical, and environmental research. She received her BA in Anthropology from Yale University and MS in Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania. She completed her PhD at Johns Hopkins University in Environmental Health and Engineering during which she was awarded the Albert Halff Doctoral Student Award, Natalie M. Lorenz Fellowship, and Air and Waste Management Association Scholarship. Her doctoral research focused on water treatment processes, detection and quantification of pharmaceuticals in the aquatic environment, antibiotic resistance arising from non-antibiotic exposures, and potential therapeutic solutions for multi-drug resistance with relevance for clinical and environmental contexts.
