Stacy Villegas Academic Program Manager
Stacy Villegas is the Academic Program Manager at the Johns Hopkins Institute for Planetary Health. Her role is dedicated to promoting the Planetary Health curriculum across JHU. Her responsibilities include helping JHU educators integrate Planetary Health in alignment with their course and program goals and identifying gaps to ensure a robust planetary health learning experience. As part of her multifaceted role, she is dedicated to cultivating strong partnerships within JHU’s distinguished faculty and staff to advance the Institute for Planetary Health’s goals and mission.
Stacy holds an MPH from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, specializing in Climate and Health. Previously, she served as a Sustainability Fellow at the Johns Hopkins Office of Sustainability, where she helped launch the Campus as a Living Lab program. She brings expertise in program management and infectious disease control from her work with organizations like the CDC and YMCA.
A Maryland native, Stacy earned her BS in Public Health from the University of Maryland and is excited to explore more of Baltimore. Outside of work, she is a professional film photographer and outdoor enthusiast who enjoys hosting eco-friendly community events, such as public clothing swaps in the D.C. area.
